Alicia Pariso

“Chasseur le lapin en merveilles” loosely translates to ‘chase the rabbit into wonderland’. It’s something I have tried to follow my entire adult life. Chasing one’s dreams might seem cliché to some but I believe it takes courage and determination.

I am Alicia, creating remotely from the Northwest, UK. First studying an Advertising and Marketing communications degree which was initially focussed on the neurological responses to advertising, I throughly enjoyed the scientific, holistic and philosophical meaning to communication methods. 

​

During these University studies and for the next decade, I worked in the fast paced sport environment, running my own club for athletes who competed winning hundreds of local, national and international championship titles. Within this environment it allowed me to to build in confidence both working alone on routine creation, designing kit each season through self taught photoshop processes over a decade, updating marketing strategies and frequent social media content to enthusiastic collaboration and networking with my team and beyond.

Spending much of my time mentoring and coaching young people, health and wellbeing had always been a forefront to my endeavours through communication and connection.

​

When it was time to take a change in change in direction on my creative path, I took opportunity into illustration and creative design.

​

I have always enjoyed creating expressively with a focus on illustrating hidden narratives in a hope to stem my emotive and intellectual curiosity, allowing my creative freedom vast potential and future happiness.

​

Understanding first-hand the complexities and stigma that Mental Health presents in a society that is overwhelmed, creating something from the soul from ‘me to you’ is always a reassurance that what issues you may be finding difficult to comprehend, you are not alone. “Chasseur le lapin en merveilles.”
