The sculpture emerged through an embodied process between intention and material response. As wire, wood, plaster and paint were assembled, periods of transactional control interrupted the relational openness established during earlier encounters with the tree. Rather than concealing these tensions, the making process became evidence of how understanding develops through interaction, reflection and negotiation with materials.
